FISHERMAN FARMER
While water is a blessing
for the farmer, the monsoon
inundates everything in
sight, merging f.ields with
ponds and lakes with rivers.

He wants to join the

boats that dot the endless
stretch of watery landscape.
Wait, the giant cookpot
comes in handy; turned over
and half-filled with water,
it’s a fun way to get out and
about. Moving with the fish
is even more fun as they
jump from the stream into
the lake and back.

The artist cleverly

captures that playful,
magical moment in the life
