Description of Foodservice Operation:


Bradley University is a mid-sized 4-year university located in Peoria, Illinois. The
Bradley community is home to nearly 6,000 students. This operation ensures that students
are receiving quality and nutritious food in a positive environment to benefit their overall
well-being while in school. Typical hours of this operation for breakfast are 7:15AM-
10:30AM Monday-Friday, and 8:30AM-10:30AM Saturday-Sunday. Continental breakfast
is from 10:30AM-11:00AM Monday-Sunday. The hours of operation for lunch are
11:00AM-3:00PM Monday-Sunday with an afternoon snack from 3:00PM-4:30PM
Monday-Thursday and 3:00PM-4:00PM Friday-Sunday. Dinner is served at this operation
from 4:30PM-8:00PM Monday-Thursday and 4:00PM-6:30PM Friday-Sunday. This
operation is a set-up as a self-serve buffet and offer to-go containers to accommodate the
busy lifestyle of our clientele. This operation also includes several spacious and comfortable
seating areas for customers to enjoy their meal.

Description of the Typical Clientele of the Foodservice Operation:


The typical clientele of this food service operation are young adults between the ages
of 18-22 with a busy life-style. Since these are students, they are often on-the-go for meals,
especially lunch. In addition, this clientele is very diverse as students from all over the
country and world attend this university. For this reason, our operation offers a variety of
meals to accommodate a variety of preferences. To continue, this clientele often expects a
variety of meals that are quick, and of high quality. To accommodate the needs of our
clientele, the food produced in this operation, especially during lunch hours, is nutritious and
easy to take on the go such as handheld sandwiches, and wraps.
