1. The traditional hilot treatment entails deep massage with the  


goal, relaxing the mind and healing the body. Warm banana
leaf strips laced with coconut oil are often run over the body to
clear energy blockages, as banana leaves contain both medicinal
and herbal elements and are a natural ionizer.

2.The benefits of hilot to our body are; it relaxes stressed  


muscles, reduces muscle pain, relieves stress, improves
circulation, improves skin appearance, resets
dislocated/sprained joints, used to diagnose and treat
musculoskeletal ailments, induces abortion, aids in giving birth
and in recovering after delivery

3. Aftercare services is the care we provide at the end of a  


massage session. Aftercare acts as the bookend to the massage
session and influences the maintenance and longevity of the
massage session test.

4. Aftercare advice should be tailored to each individuals  


situation and incorporate same or all of the elements outlined.
Appropriate time should be allocated to conclude the massage
session effectively to avoid rushing through the aftercare
discussion.

5. Rest. Do not take a bath 8 hours after the massage session.  


Drink lots of water. In case the client suffers from swelling of
muscle, a short term of ice application after the massage can
help.

6. It happens. Do not panic. Try stretching. Have a warm bath  


with Epsom salt. Epsom salt helps draw away toxins out of your
skin and this reduce the soreness worsening.

7. Call an emergency number. See if they have epinephrine  


(adrenaline) auto injector and help them, if needed. Try to keep
the client calm. Help her lie on her back. Raise her feet about 12
inches and cover them with blanket. Turn them on their side, if
they are vomiting or bleeding. Make sure their clothing is loose,
so they can breathe.

8. You may ask them to come on Friday after work so you can  
perform some deeper work to this tender area, thereby allowing
a two days to recover over the weekend without the repetitive
activity of the keyboard to re-aggravate the condition.
