1. Explain the diagram on globalization in education.

Nowadays no one can ignore the importance of education to society.

Education is a tool that will allow people to achieve every goal they set for their lives.
Learning opens doors to a great world of possibilities that will most likely lead to
success. People who are not fortune enough to receive a formal education will have to
face a road full of difficulties throughout their lives. It is not a secret that the more
education people have, the better standard of living they will enjoy. Globalization has
brought an innumerable amount of positive and negative changes to the world. One of
those aspects that have been affected by those changes is, without any doubt,
education.

The diagram above shows that globalization had a major impact and changes
on education. This change is not only having an impact on the students but on the
teachers as well. With the new age of technology, different ways to deliver instruction
have emerged, and one of them is e-learning. Children and adults can now take
advantage of a new way of learning where they do not have to be physically present in
a classroom in order to receive an outstanding education. The effects of globalization
on education bring fast development of communication technology and foreseeing
changes in school systems around the world as the ideas, values and knowledge and
change the role of students and teachers. Education system is closely related to
technology development. Universities, schools and colleges try to use improve the
indicators of quality of knowledge of their students through the use of advanced
technology.
2. Due to globalization the advancement of technology is inevitable. This has had a huge
impact on the business, government, and the labor market. One of its obvious
examples is the self-ordering system in fast food chains. This system poses a problem
to manpower especially in employment since the machine is already replacing human
works. As a future teacher what can be integrated into the curriculum to reduce this
kind of problem or what skills should be developed by students in preparation for this
market system?

Currently, we are in a pandemic situation, where in teachers and students have

to adjust in terms of learning and teaching method. And as matter of fact, technology
plays a vital role in this time of crisis. For example, in ordering food or anything in
online application or website (Food Panda, Grab Food, Shopee, Lazada, etc.) just one
click away and there you have it. And as we take learning via online class, many
consideration and factor comes a lot in this situation.

As a future educator, what can I do to reduce the problem that technology

replaces the work of human in integrating strategies or methods in curriculum? Well,
considering this pandemic situation, teacher should have more patients, and give a lot
of considerations since there is a lot of negative factors in taking online class (poor
internet connection, financial problems and personal gadget issues). Teacher should
be more flexible and dynamic when it comes in giving assessment to students either
modular or online class. And lastly, teacher should always updated and in touch with
his/her students.

And in the side of learners, learners should always be responsible and

adjustable since were taking synchronous and asynchronous studies. Utilize their time
manageably. Learners should be more adaptive in changes in the market system. And
lastly, learners should develop their ability to access, assess, adopt, and apply
knowledge, to think independently to exercise appropriate judgment and to
collaborate with others to make sense of new situations.
