Course Description, Objectives, and Intended Learning Outcomes (ILOs):
This course is meant to teach the student of dentistry aspects of materials science necessary to
enable him/her to understand the basic physical, chemical and mechanical properties of dental
materials as they relate to the clinical applications. In addition, students will be able to develop
