About IPM: How To Apply?
IIM Indore launched a unique program of a 5-year Integrated Programme in Management in 2011.
The program admits the students after they have completed their class 12th from India and few
internationally recognized boards of secondary education.
The objective of the program is to develop student’s core competencies in the area of analytical
thinking, interpersonal development, decision making along with ethical orientation. After
completing the 5 years program, the student will be awarded with the degree of Masters of
Management Studies by IIM Indore. And if a student wish to exit after 3 years, he will be awarded
with the degree of BBA.
There are high chances of making it to the IIM as the competition is comparatively low
compared to other MBA entrance exam. Around 22000 students appeared last year for IPM
Education: It has a well-structured curriculum

Placements: an IPM graduate gets an average salary package of around 16 lakhs.
IIM Indore is one of the prestigious B school in India. It is Ranked 7 by NIRF 2020 for MBA. IPM
Program was launched in 2011 by IIM Indore, it is the five-year Integrated Program and is meant for
the students with high managerial aspirations and carries the IIM brand ensuring great career
growth. After IIM Indore has launched the program, IIM Rohtak also introduced the Integrated
Program in their curriculum
How to Apply?
Candidates are required to fill the registration form for applying to IIM Indore IPM Program,
which aims at evaluating candidate’s proficiency in academics as well as in extra-curricular
activities
The application fee for IIM Indore, IPM Program is Rs. 4,130/-
IIM Indore for admission to its five-year course, conducts an aptitude test, IPMAT. For admission in
IPM program, candidates have to first go through the IPMAT exam and the shortlisted candidates
then further go through various selection rounds. Along with IIM Rohtak, Nirma University also
accepts IPMAT scores for admission to its BBA-MBA integrated program.
IIM IPM candidates are selected on the basis of their overall performance in the entrance exam,
which is the Aptitude Test, after qualifying the AT the students will be shortlisted for the Video
Based Assessment.
Stage 1: Candidates who are fulfilling the eligibility criteria will then have to submit their application
for the IIM IPM
Stage 2: Candidates then go through the Aptitude Test (AT) which is to be conducted across the
various cities in the country.
Stage 3: The minimum cut-off marks in the each section of IPM are decided by the admission
committee.
Stage 4: On the basis of the merit list candidates are shortlisted for Video Based Assessment.
Video Based Assessment: Candidates who are shortlisted for the Video Based Assessment will be
required to upload a self-recorded video within a given time period. Candidates have to make the
video based on the set of questions given to them.
Note- Candidates who fail to upload the self-recorded video in the given time frame will be
disqualified from the further selection process.
Stage 5: For the final selection of the students for admission to IIM IPM, a merit list (category wise)
based on the composite score is generated.
IIM IPM reservation of the seats:-
As per the government of India reservation rights and policies, the percentages of seats reserved
are:-
1. 27% of the seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the NC-OBC
2. 15% seats are reserved for the Scheduled Caste
3. 7.5% seats are reserved for the Scheduled Tribe
4. 4% seats are reserved for the Economically Weaker Sections
5. 5% seats are reserved for the Persons with PwD.

IPMAT Exam Preparation Strategy
IPMAT tests you on the basis of your ability to think. Analyse each question to identify your strength
and weakness in a particular field. Extensive reading is required to develop a good speed and
acumen for the Verbal Ability section. Keep yourself updated by regularly reading newspaper and be
thorough with the current things happenings which will help you in the WAT & PI process also.
Some preparation tips
To the syllabus of the exam, design a proper time table
Cover all the topics and concepts.
Do mock tests and practice tests regularly.
Analyze the tests taken, recognize the weak areas, and work accordingly, this is the most
important step.

The IPM program includes a business internship program in between the 4th and 5th year of the IPM

The highest salary offered at IIM Indore was 50 LPA, and the average salary for the batch was around
22.85 LPA for the last batch. The major roles offered in domains such as Sales & Marketing (32%),
IT/Analytics (21%), Consulting (15%), Finance (12%), HR (3%) and Operations (2%).
Major recruiters are: Accenture, ACG, Amazon, Cipla, Asian Paints, Capgemini, Deloitte, EY, Flipkart,
HP and IBM
