Dear Skaneateles family,

In response to a concerning increase in COVID-19 infections across the district, as well as a significant increase
in associated orders of quarantine for students, faculty and staff, we will be shifting to remote instruction K-12
tomorrow 12/4/2020. For perspective please review data below collected this week.

In person classes are tentatively scheduled to resume 12/14/2020. We will watch new infection data closely
throughout the coming week and make an informed decision once the safety of returning to live instruction can
be determined.

Please note that Wednesday 12/9/2020 is our staff development day. While there will be no classes in session
this day for students, our professional development for faculty and staff will continue as scheduled.

Building Principals will be reaching out individually with specifics regarding remote learning expectations.

While we regret any inconvenience or disruption this causes your family in the coming week, the safety of our
school community will always remain our priority.
