Art Appreciation
Art Appreciation refers to the full
awareness of all the good qualities of what
we see, read and hear about a work of art.

It also talks about an intelligent discussion


about a work of art.
Significance / Importance
• It enables us to access and appraise a work
of art without passing judgement
• It helps us to understand art and their
meaning
• It exposes us to different types of art
• It helps us to develop taste for arts. That is
the ability to differentiate good art from bad
art
