ENG 101 – ENGLISH PROFICIENCY

Course Outline
Course Description: This course in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in English. The
course serves students at various levels of English language proficiency, form high-beginning
to low – advanced. Emphasis is on the development of confidence, vocabulary, conversation,
reading comprehension, enjoyment, and writing. The course is open to students for whom
English is a foreign language.
Pre-requisite: None
Unit Credits: 3 units
No. of Hours: 3 hours/week
