Task 01
Learn the following rules:
Present Perfect Simple
Rule Subject + have/has + V 3 (past participle).
Negation Subject + have/has + not + V 3
Question ( Wh-/question words ) + have/has + subject + V 3.
Have/has + Subject + V 3
Use 1. Action/states that started in the past and still happening/existing.
2. Action that have just finished (very short time).
3. Actions/states we experienced in the past.
4. Actions that happened in the past but still have results that affect the
present.
5. Tell the number of times the action happened.
Examples 1. The earth has been suffering for many years.
2. I have just finished my homework.
3. Has he played basketball? (answer: no I haven’t).
4. He is late because he has missed the bus.
5. How many times have you tried to win? (answer: I have tried to win
three times).
