User manual

Preface

Notice:
Before use, please read this manual carefully with the matched sewing equipment instruction. Installation or operation must
be executed by professional trained staff.

This product is only applicable to the specified range of sewing equipment, please do not use for other purposes.
Final explanation rights are reserved by the company.

Safety instructions
1. Please read the manual carefully before installing and commissioning
2. Symbols marked in this manual are safety precautions and must be observed and carried out seriously, to avoid
unnecessary damage
3. This product must be installed or operated by professionals.
4. Do ensure the power supply grounds well and conforms to the voltage range and technical requirements, which indicated
on the product nameplate
5. Please put feet away from the pedal when switching on the power
6. Disconnect system power before operations as below:
 Inserting the machine
Inserting any connecting plug to the control box
Threading the needle or change the needle and turn the head
The machine is not used or in repair or adjust process.
7. Tighten all fasteners to prevent abnormalities such as vibration or stop position misalignment during sewing
8. Each turn off the control system and start again, should be separated by more than 30 seconds.
9. Setting up system control parameters of maintenance work should be done by qualified person.
10. All component used for maintenance must be provided or approved by the company
11. Installation of ground wire(special attention)

Note: The controller must be properly grounded, otherwise it would not work
properly, electric shocked might be occurred for worse situation.

1. Product induction
This series of industrial sewing machine CNC AC servo system, motor and controller can be used on demand, to achieve a
variety of sewing machine power, speed and other requirements. Simple installation, convenient adjustment, large torque,
small size, low noise, high efficiency(energy saving),power supply(switch power).Above all ensures it have a wider voltage
adaptation range, to avoid oil pollution caused by the control fault. Optimizing AC servo motor control policy, leads to the
accurate speed control and stable needle stop. Software and hardware multi protection function makes the system more
reliable, Man-machine interface makes the parameters adjustment more convenient and smart for use.

2. Controller interface definition


Control box and motor encoder components, motor power wire, connections as shown in figure 2-1,install each plug to
corresponding socket firmly, and then double check the connection.

When it is impossible to insert plug with normal force, please check if the plug and
socket are matched, or the direction of inserts or needle is correct.

3.Embedded operator panel


3.1 Operator panel overview
3.1.1 Instruction of layout
Control box operation by the digital display area and 6 buttons and 1 potentiometer(Figure 3-1).The configuration has 4 LED
lights to show if the corresponding functional status is turned on.

Operation panel instruction:
Item No. Appearance Description
1 Speed adjustment button:
1) when system is free, press this button for shortcut set speed and all
digital tube display number.
2) when system is free and press this button for 6s, the motor rotation
direction changes. Digital No.4 light point from right will light up or off
to indicate parameter changes or not.

2 Needle position button:


1) System is free, press the button for needle position.
light on: up needle position, light off: down needle position.
2) System free status, press the button for 6s: turn on or turn off needle
position.
Digital No.1 light point on or off.
Light on: needle position on, light off :needle position cancel.
3) to confirm the selection in parameter set program, to save the
setting.
3 Plus button: increase the number of parameters.

4 Reduce button: decrease the number of parameters.

5 Front trimming thread length adjustment button:(This key function is


only suitable for machetes adjustment, not suitable for hay.)
Press this button, enter front trimming set. Trough “+””-”button set
thread length. The number smaller, the thread tail shorter. Displayed by
3 digital tube number, set range is 0-60,unit:stitch.

(remarks: when front trimming meter is set much lower, then inside
software will automatically canceled for fabric protection. If it occurs,
reset the parameter to 60, then reduce front trimming length step by
step for adjustment)
“0” means front rimming doesn't work.
6 Rear trimming thread length adjustment button: (This key function is
only suitable for machetes adjustment, not suitable for hay.)
Press this button, enter rear trimming set. Press “+””-”button to set
thread length. the number smaller, the thread tail shorter. Display with
3 digital tube numbers, set range is 0-100,unit:stitch.

3.3 Shortcut set

When system is free, button quickly change motor rotation direction and max speed. Button can
quickly set needle-position on or off, and up-down position setting.

can shortcut enter set front trimming thread length set, enter this the digital tube only display 3 numbers.

can shortcut enter rear thread length set screen, also only displays 3 numbers.

3.3.1 Needle position function.

When system is free, quick press , set needle position up or down, needle-position indicator light on:
up-needle-position, light off: down-needle-position.

Press button 6s for needle-position switch, right point light on: needle-position selected, light off: cancel
needle-position.

3.3.2 Speed set

System free status, press button, when 4 digital tubes display with numbers, press for the max speed
limitation, each set unit is 50RPM, range 300-6000RPM.
3.3.3 Front thread trimming length set

Press , the digital tubes display 3 numbers, enter front trimming system screen. Press for thread length set,
the unit is 1 stitch, range 0-60. The number smaller, the thread tail shorter,0 means no trimming. But the number cannot be
much lower, reduce this number step by step from 60 till the tail length you want. If the front trimming function doesn't work,
perhaps due to the small number.
3.3.4 Back trimming set

Press button, the digital tubes display 3 numbers, enter back trimming system screen. Press for thread length set,
the unit is 1 stitch, range 0-100. The number smaller, the thread tail shorter,0 means no back trimming.
3.3.5 Technical parameter revise set
Adjust control system parameter according to actual situation, to make the motor running in best situation, the
parameter set as below:

step 1: Free system status, press button, and then press , keep the 2 together, the digital tubes will display as
3-5, then input password.

Step 2:Press button 2 times, input and change the digital tube to be “6666”, then press for confirm, it will enter
parameter index, the screen as 3-6

Step 3:Under parameter index screen, press revise the number to the wanted value. The technical parameter

index see attached list 1. When confirm index, press enter parameter screen. See TIG 3-7

Step 4:Press revise the digital tube display meter to you wanted.

Step5:After revise, press for confirmation and return to revise parameter and back index screen. If don't want save

parameter, press back free system. Anytime press , can back to free system interface.

3.4 Auto test
Motor auto test mode.

Step 1: Free system status, press not move, then press together, the digital will display as TIG 3-8, enter auto
running test mode. The motor will run and stop according to attached list P-24 and P-25 till finished.

Step 2: Auto running mode, press to stop the motor and exit auto testing mode. System will go back to free status.
3.5 Installation and debugging of sensor.
Step 1.Use the standard hardware bracket, and fixed the sensor in the sewing machine corresponding by screws.(Note that
the sensor illumination surface must be parallel to the seam in order to achieve the best running performance.)
Step 2.Adjustment sensitivity of sensor, first connect well the sensor and control box, under control box switch on, use
micro”-”screwdriver to adjust the fine-tuning above the sensor by left and right rotation. Under without placing fabric and
something,fine-turn the sensor to the induction light on,just on.
Step 3.Take the cloths that need to be sewing and put it under sensor check the sensor light off or not,then move the clothes
and check the sensor light on or not and retry these for a few times if it is follow, and it means the sensor install well(If not,
please re-fine-turn again to the best situation)

Error code Code problem Solution for the error code
E-01 Hardware over current Turn off control system and return after 30s, if control
E-02 Software over current system still not work in normal, change the control box
and inform supplier.
E-03 Power low voltage Turn off controller power, check the input voltage is low
or not. If it is low after voltage recover, then control
system still not work in normal, please inform supplier.
E-04 Power voltage higher Turn off control system and check the power supplier
when running or stop voltage excessive high or not(over 245V),if it is higher,
E-05 recover the voltage and restart, but fault still exists,
replace the controller and inform the supplier.
E-06 Motor blocked Turn off controller power and check if the motor power
input plug pin is fall off, loosen, or worn out. If there is
Foreign body wrapped. After exclude all factors above,
replace the controller and call supplier.
E-07 Syncronizer signal fault Check the wire connects motor coder or syncronizer
with control box is fall off, loosen, worn out.
Exclude the factor above and restart, if the fault still
exists, replace the controller and inform supplier.
E-08 EEPROM fault Turn off and restart, if problem still exists, replace the
controller and contact supplier.
E-09 Over speed protection Turn off control system and restart after 30s,if control
E-10 Rotation reversal box still doesn't work in normal, please replace the
problem controller and contact supplier.
E-11 Motor overload
E-12 Current fault
E-13 Motor hall fault Check if the wire which connects motor coder and
control box is off, or loose or worn out.
Excluding the factors above, if the fault still exists after
restart, change the controller and inform the supplier.
E-15 Pedal signal fault Check the wire which connects pedal and control box is
off, or loose or worn out.
Excluding the factors above, if the fault still exists after
restart, change the controller and inform the supplier.
