BrainPOP
requires a paid subscription, an individual educator can purchase one or an entire school can
purchase one. There is an offer for a free trial, which is 150 days (about the number of days in
one school year). This would be a great tool if there is funding available.

as a series. Cyberchase focuses on mathematics but has some material that is about health and

iCivics: iCivics offers free and paid-for materials that teach Civics and about the American
government. There is also a section for English language learners. This resource revolves
around the use of interactive games; however, lesson plans are offered to navigate and teach

resources. This site offers lesson plans, videos, activities and more. Also, there is a section for
professional development. This site adheres to the IRA/NCTE standards and individual state

adults. You can search for lesson plans based on specific standards and from grades K – 12.
