Emanuel James “Jim” Rohn
(September 17, 1930 – December 5, 2009)

Considered by many to be America’s foremost business philosopher, Jim Rohn was an


American entrepreneur, author, and motivational speaker whose “rags to riches” tale
inspired thousands. Born in Yakima, Washington during the Great Depression, Rohn
spent his early years working on his parent’s farm in Caldwell, Idaho. His acquired first
real job was as a stock clerk for Sears, before eventually moving on to the world of
direct selling – first with AbundaVita, then with Nutri-Bio.

Rohn received the 1985 National Speakers Association CPAE Award for excellence in
speaking, and would become the mentor to both Mark R. Hughes and Tony Robbins
during his lifetime.

Rohn mentored Mark R. Hughes (the founder of Herbalife International) and life


strategist Tony Robbins in the late 1970s. Others who credit Rohn for his influence on
their careers include authors Mark Victor Hansen(Everton Edwards) founder of Hallmark
innovators Conglomerate company limited and Jack Canfield (Chicken Soup book
series), author/lecturer Brian Tracy, Todd Smith, and T. Harv Eker Rohn also
coauthored the novel Twelve Pillars with Chris Widener.

Peter Ferdinand Drucker 
(November 19, 1909 – November 11, 2005)

Peter Ferdinand Drucker (November 19, 1909 – November 11, 2005) was an Austrian-
born American management consultant, educator, and author, whose writings
contributed to the philosophical and practical foundations of the modern
business corporation. He was also a leader in the development of management
education, he invented the concept known as management by objectives and self-
control and he has been described as "the founder of modern management".

Drucker's books and scholarly and popular articles explored how humans are organized
across the business, government, and nonprofit sectors of society. He is one of the
best-known and most widely influential thinkers and writers on the subject of
management theory and practice. His writings have predicted many of the major
developments of the late twentieth century, including privatization and decentralization;
the rise of Japan to economic world power; the decisive importance of marketing; and
the emergence of the information society with its necessity of lifelong learning. In 1959,
Drucker coined the term "knowledge worker," and later in his life considered knowledge-
worker productivity to be the next frontier of management. Drucker gave his name to
three institutions: the Drucker Institute and the Peter F. Drucker and Masatoshi Ito
Graduate School of Management, both at Claremont Graduate University in the United
States, and the Peter F. Drucker Academy, China. The annual Global Peter Drucker
Forum, held in his hometown of Vienna, honors his legacy.

PHILOSOPHY

Among Drucker's early influences was the Austrian economist Joseph Schumpeter, a


friend of his father's, who impressed upon Drucker the importance of innovation and
entrepreneurship. Drucker was also influenced, in a much different way, by John
Maynard Keynes, whom he heard lecture in 1934 in Cambridge. "I suddenly realized
that Keynes and all the brilliant economic students in the room were interested in the
behavior of commodities," Drucker wrote, "while I was interested in the behavior of
people."
Over the next 70 years, Drucker's writings would be marked by a focus on relationships
among human beings, as opposed to the crunching of numbers. His books were filled
with lessons on how organizations can bring out the best in people, and how workers
can find a sense of community and dignity in a modern society organized around large
institutions. As a business consultant, Drucker disliked the term "guru," though it was
often applied to him; "I have been saying for many years," Drucker once remarked, "that
we are using the word 'guru' only because 'charlatan' is too long to fit into a headline."
As a young writer, Drucker wrote two pieces — one on the conservative German
philosopher Friedrich Julius Stahl and another called "The Jewish Question in
Germany" — that were burned and banned by the Nazis.

Louis Carter
(1972 age 47 years old)

Louis Carter is CEO/Founder of Best Practice Institute, author of Change Champion's


Field Guide and In Great Company (McGraw Hill).
Louis Carter specializes in best practice research and leadership development as an
advisor, speaker and best-selling author of 10 books on best practices including
Change Champion's Field Guide and Best Practices in Talent Management.
Carter is the recipient of ELearning! Magazine's Trailblazer Award, HR Tech
Conference's Top Products Award, and Leadership Excellence Magazine's Best in
Leadership Development for his work as founder and CEO of Best Practice Institute and
the creator of the first social anytime 360-degree feedback tool, skill rater.
He received his MA in Social/Organizational Psychology from Columbia University. He
has spoken for the Prime Minister of the UAE, Pentagon, UN, and various international
conferences.

relationships where we are all better as a result of having one another in each other’s
lives. The pragmatic application of this philosophy is to ensure that there is a constant
flow of respect for time, care for each other’s well-being and support for our mutual
success in the form of providing instructions, knowledge and resources necessary to get
the job done to the best of everyone’s ability.

V. Michael Santoro
(September 20, 1969)

Michael Santoro is 49 years old and was born on 9/20/1969. Currently, he lives in Egg
Harbor Township, NJ; and previously lived in Castalia, NC, and Galloway, NJ.
Sometimes Michael goes by various nicknames
including Michael Santora and Mike Santoro. He currently works as a Principal at s And
E Holdings LLC. His ethnicity is Caucasian, whose political affiliation is currently a
registered Republican; and religious views are listed as Christian. Michael is now single.
Other family members and associates include Kelly Morley and Sherry Thomas.

V. Michael Santoro is an award winning published author with over 12 years of


experience in digital marketing including search engine optimization (SEO) and content
marketing. His specialty is online video. He co-founded  Vaetas, LLC,  a cloud-based
interactive video communication platform for professional Entrepreneurs. He also has
had more than 25 years of international high tech experience and was an adjunct
professor with the computer science department at Western Connecticut State
University.

Our company provides this help without expectation. We accomplish it by providing


valuable education and even referring them to a good resource if our business is not the
best match to solve their problems. The trust and respect that it earns has been a major

Kean Graham

Kean Graham is the Founder & CEO of an ad optimization company called


MonetizeMore.  After working over a year for a Canadian online classified, they decided
to lay off the whole marketing department.
Five days later, Kean find himself on a plane to South America. Four months into the
backpacking trip, he started a life changing Machu Picchu trek. He had hiked for four
days through the incredible Inca trail. By the end of it, he was sitting on top of Wayna
Picchu reflecting on his experiences with the incredible view of Maccu Picchu in front of
him and it finally clicked:

 He started MonetizeMore in 2010 with the goal to build a bootstrap business that would
dramatically increase ad revenues for publishers. Over the years, Kean has perfected
the proprietary MonetizeMore and optimization model and now increases ad revenues
for hundreds of publisher networks in over 40 countries.

PHILOSOPHY

This is an incredible quote because it enables me to enjoy my victories more and


bounce back from my failures quickly. For victories, I know that even if there was a bit of
perceived luck involved, it was my previous actions to lead to that event inevitably. For
my failures, I am able to learn from them immediately because I take responsibility and
reflect on how I could have prevented the negative situation so that it never happens
again. From there, I change a good thing into a bad thing by approaching the negative
situation from a new, clever angle.

For example, we were disapproved by Google several years ago and lost millions as a
result. We responded by improving our screening processes, diversifying our revenue
streams and partnering with a fraud suppression company to prevent this issue from
happening again. As a result, we have rebuilt the company to be more sustainable and
resilient than ever. It ended up being a blessing in disguise.

DUSTIN MOSKOVITZ 
(Born May 22, 1984)

Is an American Internet entrepreneur who co-founded Facebook with Mark


Zuckerberg, Eduardo Saverin, Andrew McCollum and Chris Hughes. In 2008, he left
Facebook to co-found Asana with Justin Rosenstein. In March 2011, Forbes reported
Moskovitz to be the youngest self-made billionaire in history, on the basis of his 2.34%
share in Facebook.
Dustin Moskovitz, cofounder of organization software Asana and Facebook said by
being mindful and aware of his mental and physical state, he can guide his actions
and thoughts with thoughtful intention. He said:

DAPHNE KOLLER
(Born August 27, 1968)

Is an Israeli-American Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Stanford


University and a MacArthur Fellowship recipient. She is one of the founders
of Coursera, an online education platform. Her general research area is artificial
intelligence and its applications in the biomedical sciences. Koller was featured in a
2004 article by MIT Technology Review titled "10 Emerging Technologies That Will
Change Your World" concerning the topic of Bayesian machine learning.

After her PhD, Koller did postdoctoral research at University of California, Berkeley from


1993 to 1995, and joined the faculty of the Stanford University Computer Science
Department in 1995. She was named a MacArthur Fellow in 2004, was elected a
member of the National Academy of Engineering in 2011 and was elected a fellow of
the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in 2014.
Daphne Koller, cofounder of education site Coursera, said she is driven by a personal
sense of responsibility to leave the world a better place than when she entered it and
looks for opportunities where a relatively small effort will make a large impact

I’ve always felt that we should try to live our lives so as to leave the world a better place.
Or, to quote Steve Jobs, we should ‘make a dent in the universe.’ I also believe that this
obligation only increases for people who are more fortunate.

I try to seek out opportunities where a small amount of resources, time, or effort can
make a disproportionately large contribution. I particularly value efforts with a ripple
effect, where one action sets off an entire cascade of responses whose overall impact
can be really huge. That’s a major reason I chose to enter the field of education and
went on to found Coursera. Educating even a single person can have a profound effect
not only on that person’s life, but also on the many people whose lives that person
touches. By applying a relatively small amount of resources, we have the opportunity to
transform the lives of millions of people, and indirectly of many more.

ZACH SIMS 
(Greater New York City Area)

Zach Sims, cofounder of education company Codecademy, said the best way to learn
something is by actively doing it. He said

Learn by doing. That’s been a core belief both in my life and throughout Codecademy–
we think the best way for people to learn isn’t to do so by leaning back (by watching
videos or sitting in class), but instead by figuring out what they want to learn and starting

approach both in life and work in the same way, not by just consuming the knowledge
that’s around them, but by getting practical experience and trying new things.

LOGAN GREEN
(Los Angeles, California, United States)

Logan Green is the co-founder and CEO of Lyft, an on-demand transportation company,
which he founded with John Zimmer in 2012. Lyft grew out of Zimride, a ride share
company previously founded by Green and Zimmer in 2007. As of July 2017, Lyft
provides over 1 million rides a day.
Green attended New Roads High School in Santa Monica, California.[9] Green
graduated from UCSB in 2006 with a B.A. in Business Economics.[9] While a student,
Green created The Green Initiative Fund, served as a board member for the Isla Vista
Recreation and Park District, and was the youngest director for the Santa Barbara
Metropolitan Transit District.[9][10] From August 2007 to February 2008, Green was the
Sustainability Director at UCSB.[11] In 2007, alongside John Zimmer, Green founded
Zimride, a ridesharing platform that coordinated carpools, especially across college
campuses.[12]

In 2014, Green and Zimmer were named in Inc. Magazine’s “35 Under 35 list.”[31]

Logan Green said, invest your time in things that really move the world forward in a
meaningful way rather than in short-term fads.

Take on giant problems that matter to people. Listening to all of the chatter in the press,
it is easy to come away with the impression that investors are always chasing the latest
fad. But in our experience the best investors care most about putting their money into
solving gigantic problems that improve the world in a meaningful way.

JEFFREY LAWSON
(San Francisco, California, United States)

Mr. Jeffrey Lawson, also known as Jeff, co-founded Twilio, Inc. in 2008 and has been its
Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer since November 2015 and April
2008 respectively.

Mr. Lawson serves as an Advisor at Homebrew Management LLC. Prior to Twilio, he


was Founder and served as Chief Technology Officer of NineStar, Founding Chief
Technology Officer of Stubhub.com and Founder, Chief Executive Officer & Chief
Technology Officer of Versity

Mr. Lawson is a serial inventor with over 15 years of entrepreneurial and product
experience. He has held several founding executive roles at Nine Start, Stubhub and
Versity. In addition, he was one of the original product managers for Amazon Web
Services. He identified the fundamental need for a communications platform that would
enable developers and enterprises of all sizes to easily build the communications
solutions that meet the specific needs of their business. He has been a Director of
Cellular Telecommunications & Internet Association - The Wireless Association since
January 1, 2015. He has been a Director of Twilio, Inc. since April 2008. He earned his
B.S. in Computer Science & Film/Video from University of Michigan.

PHILOSOPHY

He said:

The most finite resource we have on this planet is time–so think big. This philosophy
has driven me more than anything else as an entrepreneur for the past 15 years. Going
big doesn’t mean being ostentatious or puffing out your chest, it means thinking at
scale. Are you spending your precious time on something that is truly worthwhile? Is the
world a better place for having you and your work a part of it?

When people push themselves to solve big problems and take on behemoths in
entrenched industries, that’s what pushes technology–and hopefully humanity–forward.
Starting any company requires enormous effort–your blood, sweat and tears–so you
might as well dedicate them to a purpose that will have the most impact.

Thinking big is what kept me motivated during the long nights and lean times when
investors balked at the idea of a platform targeting developers.
