Overview
The Britannic heavy fiber glass housing automatic backwashing
media filter system is designed to provide the highest quality in
water filtration equipment while covering a wide variety of
commercial and industrial applications including turbidity reduction,
suspended particles removal, and chlorine removal. A broad range of
filter media and component options are offered to fit your exact
specifications.
‘Heavy duty ’ Multi-Media Filters
High efficiency, in-depth filter system using a layered- media
bed of anthracite, silica sand, and multi grades of gravels for
excellent filtration down to the order of 10 micron.
TURBIDTY REMOVAL
Materials of Construction
• Media Tanks: Fiber glass tank reinforced polymer
• Tank Lining: Heavy gauge composite PE liner reinforced with
fiber glass and epoxy resin.
• Exterior Piping: H-PVC SCH 80/PPR/Copper (Optional)
• Internal Distributors: Food grade polypropylene
• Control Valve: Lead free brass with Noryl body
Standard Equipment / Features
• Four methods of backwash initiation regeneration, meter
immediate, and meter delayed, time clock delayed or pressure
differential.
• Solid state microprocessor with easy access front panel settings.
• Front panel display for time of day, days until next backwash,
volume remaining, current flow rate and total volume used
(Totalizer).
• Optional double backwash feature offers optimum backwash,
cleaning ability and efficiency.
• Patented one piece expanding seal spacer stack assembly U.S
patent 6,402,944.
