1) Study HBA1 gene using UCSC genome browser by exploring following components

of gene:

Chromosomal location

Introns

Exons

Start and stop codons

Nucleotides and codons

2) Study HK1 gene using different UCSC tracks and explore 1st exon of HK1.

3) Search the gene sequence of p53 in human genome using BLAT.

4) Retrieve sequence of gene AQP2 using table browser and also retrieve sequence of 3’

end of 1st intron.

5) Retrieve a list of common SNPs in the BRCA2 gene.
