Effects of COVID-19

The world has recently seen the presence of
COVID-19, a great enemy of mankind, which
poses a threat to many (1) people day by day, is
predicted to persist in a long time ahead and
doesn’t have an exact time of its ending.
Recently the issue has been brought into focus
that many nations have been with the effects of

Both lives and likelihood are at risk from the
pandemic, this issue is spreading quickly and this
is no longer a regional issue but it is a global
problem calling for a global response. Firstly,
dead toll is the key factor of impacts COVID-19
put on. According to Worldometer on April 29,
2020, pandemic has stolen a total number of
more than three millions mortalities, and more
than fifty thousands cases are critical and
serious. Another source of information has
shown that COVID-19 has surpassed any other
contagious diseases such as SARS, Mers,
Influenza A virus, Ebola, Cholera and Swine Flu,
a group of 2000s diseases in the huge number of
mortalities.

Moreover, COVID-19 has inevitable impacts on

economic issues. There is no doubt many
nations’ quarantines may mostly contribute to
this economic global downturn, quarantines
mean the closure of many companies and jobs.
According to the Economists, petrol prices have
never been lower than those in the background of
Covid-19. In addition, COVID-19 caused the
closure of schools, which has a damaging impact
on education in many countries. This means the
curriculums at schools have been delayed and
studies’ schedules of students have to be
lengthened with their important examination
affected too. 

In conclusion, COVID-19 has undeniable

impacts on almost every aspect of lives. On the
bright side, there are many steps to be taken to
recover damages caused by COVID-19.
