    Responders from the Rescuers and First Aiders Club, as well as faculty, staff, and students participated in a Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Skills Enhancement Training at St. Therese-MTC Colleges last July 19, 2017. The training taught both college and high school students how to respond to emergency situations like earthquakes and fires that could occur at school. Participants practiced proper responses to unexpected incidents like helping collapse victims or dealing with suffocation from fires and other dangerous scenarios. The activity was initiated by the MDRRMC Chairman and Municipal MDRRMC President.

    Responders Undergo Skills Training

    The Rescuers and First Aiders Club, Faculty, Staff, and students participated the Disaster Risk
    Reduction and Management Skills Enhancement Training for schools last July 19, 2017 at St.
    Therese-MTC Colleges Quadrangle.

    Both students from college and high school were trained to respond to emergency situations
    that may occur at school like earthquake and fire.

    Proper responsive act during unexpected incidents like sudden collapse of victims,
    suffocation due to fire and other worst scenarios were practiced and taught during the drill.

    This activity was initiated by MDRRMC Chairman, Municipal Mayor Suzette Alquisada and
    the Municipal MDRRMC President, Mr. Rommel Miciano.
