Dear First Semester Student,

Congratulations on getting into nursing school! Before you know it, you will be writing your

own letter to an incoming student. The journey ahead will have some late nights and early

mornings, but it will all be worth it by the end. Try to reach out to instructors, classmates, or

anyone else earlier rather than later for any questions you might have. Take time for yourself- get

some sleep and do activities you enjoy. Don’t worry about knowing everything all at once,

because you’ll be continually exposed to new concepts. By your third or fourth semester,

everything will start to come together. You are going to make a great nurse, you’ve got this!
