DOCUMENTATION PROCESS IN MMUP APPLICATION (CE)

1. BASIC REQUIREMENT

a) ID Picture (passport size) and copy of passport

b) Valid Qatar I.D/ Residence Card w/ Engineer*** as Profession
NOTE:***: some visas like surveyor maybe allowed to take exam as long as you are graduated as
Engineer

c) Police Clearance issued by Criminal Evidence and Info.Dept(CEID)

- Police clearance is issued by CEID, have your NBI authenticated by the phi embassy and
MOFA and get MMUP endorsement letter to CEID from below link

Just enter the following information and print:
1. QID number
2. Birthdate ( format sample : 15-08-1978)
And submit the letter with attested NBI to CEID in salwa, and wait for approximately one week for
release. Submission can be done personally or via company mandup.

d) Attested School Diploma & TOR (by Phil. Embassy in Qatar & MOFA)
Ensure school certification format follows new requirement of mofa.

e) Related Training Certificates ( Authentication not Required)

- few training certificates maybe enough related to your works and professions.
- PICE Qatar Certificates are acceptable

f) Attested Employment Cert. (by Phil Embassy in Qatar & MOFA)*

*Local Employment Cert. with company stamp and signature “may” not be required
further attestation by Qatar Chamber of Commerce however, if you have a chance,
better have your local employment certificate attested.

All employment outside Qatar, shall be stamped at MOFA.:

1. If employment in the phils, executive affidavit of employment stating all your previous
employment., bring to RTC or MTC for certification of your affidavit then send to dfa via dhl
for authentication.
2. If employment in GCC countries, send some to chamber of commerce with company card and
ID, ensure signatory of your certificate part of the company signatories.
3. Worst case, if you don’t have option to have your certificate attested, you may include your
employment years to No (1).
Note: The grade or category of engineers are based on the years of experience recognized by
MMUP. Therefore ensure that your work employment certificates are all properly attested.

g) Attested PRC Board Certificate and valid PRC Card (by Phil. Embassy in Qatar &

MOFA)
- if by proxy, prepare authorization for someone, send the original and
photocopy of your board certificate to PRC for authentication. Thereafter,
send the document to DFA for attestation.
 - Note: there are agencies in Qatar who are providing this kind of service, . payment
around 250QR per document. (i.e kabayan Express, )

h. Resume – prepared to match you work employment

i. Any other documents boost your application as Engineer

No need to proceed to Post office for activation,. Remember your password at all times.

FAQ
1. What if my school is not on the list?
- Refer to the Embassy Circular for the update or you can follow Engr Catinoy
procedure for evaluation and approval of school..

2. How to upload the document online? –
Secret- long story, before it was in Arabic then English and the last time I check that was in Arabic.
No specific since website of mme is constantly changing..If you want, enroll mmup refresher and Engr
Arman will assist you.If you want we have videos of actual uploading but on the old version of the mme
pages.

3. After uploading the documents, what to do? ; wait for sms/call from mmup to submit the original docs
4. Where to submit the document.? At mmup bldg. ground floor. In front of city center. If you lost call Engr
Arman Tolentino.
5. How long it take to wait for the day of examination after submitting the original?. One week or more.it
depends.
6. How many question in the exam? 25 question for one hour in a multiple choice exam.
7. Are we allowed to use calculator?. No. you can use built in calculator of the computer.
8. What to bring during the exam? Only I.D is allowed to bring inside. Pen and scratch are provided.
9. What are the types of questions given? Questions are taken from nowhere, general civil engineering,
construction, QCS and allied science.
10. What is the passing score? 50%
11. What are the Category of Registration? First/2nd/3rd/Trainee/Expert
12. After Examination,What should I do? Wait the result outside at the waiting area. They will call each to
inform if you pass or fail.They will also give back the original documents submitted.
If you pass; you are requested to pay 300QR and immediate oathtaking. Outright they will give you the
Card and Certificate of Registration.If You fail, do not go home, ask for retake, they will give you
instruction how.
13. Can I know my score in the exam? Yes, log in to your account,
