Summary of Lesson I will start with the essential question, to engage students in the
lesson. I will ask students what they know about the number zero.
Then, I will give students an example word problem; with the sum
being zero. I will direct students to get their Go Math workbook, a
pencil, and a red crayon. Using the Sphere Lite projector, I will
demonstrate the page where students need to be. I will start with
the Listen and Draw page of their workbook. Ask students
questions to check for understanding. Then, I will move on to the
Model and Draw section of the page. I will ask students to help me
answer questions to check for understanding. Next, I will model the
next work page named On your own. I will continue to ask students
to answer questions to check for understanding. When finished, I
will ask students if they have any questions and then log off and
work on Reflex math for 20 minutes.

Homework Students will have to complete the gray page of their work book on
their own. I will request for students’ to turn in their completed
homework assignment to the online application SeeSaw.
