1. Introduction.

Translation often requires detective work investigating lexicon, semantics, and

pragmatics; many times, hampered by the lack of context that requires the translator to

possess or acquire, before undertaking the translation, a general understanding of the

subject on which they are working. Otherwise, even if you understand all the vocabulary of

the original, you will only be presenting empty words without knowing it.

Hence the importance of the interest in the subject of translation, these being applied in the

different logistics processes, which has led most companies to expand their practice in

attending to business, which requires immediate responses.

Therefore, it is necessary to have adequate preparation to understand texts in the bilingual

language.

As part of your English Learning Process, it is important to get familiar with technical

vocabulary in order to be able to translate short pieces of texts containing technical

information.

1. According to your experience, which steps did you follow to complete the different

translations?

To make a correct translation, I believe that it is necessary to keep in mind a wide

terminology, which is useful for the attention of the spelling errors exposed in the texts.

5. According to your experience, what is the most difficult aspect about translation?

I think that the most difficult aspect of the translation is the words with various meanings,

which makes the texts difficult to interpret.

To conclude, the supply chain of Alpina S.A, like any other company, are essential to

correctly execute the entire logistics process and be able to get the product to the end

customer, complying with all minimum quality standards. That is why, the importance of

the optimal fulfillment of the duties of all the actors of the supply chain for the efficient

development of their participation in the market.

However, any company that wishes to compete must apply strategies to achieve operational

excellence, through a defined process of added value; in order to meet the needs of

customers and therefore achieve the positioning of the brand globally.

It is concluded that for us translation is a process communicative in which the learner must

be able to understand and produce texts adequate, contributing to the expansion of

knowledge.

Keep in mind that translating and interpreting texts has its pros and cons; Interpretation is

more stressful, and errors are immediately visible, without being possible to correct them

on many occasions, while the translator can, in an ideal situation, spend time reviewing and

checking his own work.
