Praxis Core Exam Analysis

Exam Requirements

I must pass the Praxis Core Exam for my chosen college in order to be evaluated

regarding entry into teacher education programs. Such exams are commonly required as

part of the licensing process. The passing scores for the Praxis Core Exam in Nevada are

Math 150, Reading 156, and Writing 162.

Exam Preparation

To prepare myself for the exams, I have researched information regarding the

exams in order to provide myself with a better understanding. I also completed practice

questions in order to help prepare me for the exams. I briefly used the Praxis Prep

websites in preparation for the exams.

Exam Results

I scored 46% in my Math, therefore I need significant improvement in order to

pass Math when taking the official PCE. I scored 29% range in my Reading, therefore I

need significant improvement in order to pass Reading when taking the official PCE. I

scored 5% in my Writing, therefore I need significant improvement in order to pass

Writing when taking the official PCE.

Future Exam Preparation

In order to further prepare myself for the official Praxis Core Exams, I will

continue to be productive in studying using any available resources. I will work through

online programs that will provide me with essential information regarding each exam. I

will continue to use the Praxis Prep websites that have been provided to me. I will
complete these by constructing a study plan, giving myself adequate time in order

complete each preparation.
