Operating the CoCo-80X for FFT

Steps involved
Step-1 : Starting
First of all the CoCo-80X needs to start and select DSA mode and then Analysis option or (F2)
button to avail this window as shown below. Now click on CSA Application

Step-2 : selection of analysis


Select “Transient and Spectral Analysis” as shown below. Now a window will appear as shown
below and select “APS1Ch or any of the displayed options”

Step-3 : traces selection

Then it will be directed to the window as shown below, here click on traces or F1for traces
settings. Now select APS(ch1) and click on “OK or F6”

Step-4 : parameter settings

Then user will be directed to a window with single trace with APS(ch1) as shown and then click
on “parameters or F2” to avail the settings of the current measurement. Now click on frequency
range and select 352Hz as your test frequency.

Now select Analysis parameters for further settings, and select block size as 512/225 and
remaining settings as shown below. Average number could be increased as on wish. And click
ok to make the save settings.

Now click on “Input Channels” in parameters itself. Give input of Channel 1 sensitivity
accordingly. Now select the integration as “Dbl integration to displacement” and select
measurement as “micro meters”

To save the measured signals user need to select the spectral save setup from the parameters as
shown below and then click ok.

Step-5 : view mode selection

Finally in the signal window one can see the floating icon “((mm/s)^2(RMS)” select this one. In
the view mode select “linear Mag” and in the “Spectrum type” select “EUpkpk” to see the
spectrum in peek to peek mode.
