Bread and Pastry Semi- Final Practical Exam Recipe

OATMEAL CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES


Ingredients:
2/3 cup granulated sugar 2/3 brown sugar
½ cup butter ½ cup margarine
1 tsp vanilla ½ tsp baking powder
3 cups of oatmeal 2 large eggs
1 cup chocolate chips 1 cup all- purpose flour

PROCEDURE:
1. Heat oven to 370 degrees Fahrenheit or 177 degrees Celsius.
2. Mix all ingredients except oats, flour, chocolate chips using mixer or
wire whisk. Mix until creamy.
3. Drop dough by rounded tablespoon about 2 inches apart onto
ungreased cookie sheet.
4. Bake 9 to 19 minutes or golden brown. Immediately remove from
cookie sheet. Cool on wire rack.

1 ½ cups All-purpose flour 1 cup Cocoa


2 cups Sugar , refined 4 pcs Eggs, fresh
1 tsp Baking powder 2tsp Vanilla Extract
1 cup Butter 1 cup Chocolate chips
1 tsp Salt

PROCEDURE:
1. Using an electric mixer combine butter and sugar using the creaming
method.
2. Gradually add eggs, one at a time until well blended then add vanilla
extract mixed well then set aside.
3. Combine dry ingredients. make sure to sift the flour, cocoa, salt and
baking powder.
4. Pour the flour mixture gradually into the wet ingredients blend using
the mixer in medium speed. Add half of the chocolate chip in the
mixture.
5. Pour int greased floured pan and top with the other half of the
chocolate chips.
6. Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit or 177 degrees
Celsius.
7. Let the brownies cool before cutting. Decorate and packed.
