1. Summary
Please perform insertion and extraction of connecter for the Optical Unit on the
back side more than 5 times in case of ECC71 (HSYNC detection timeout) or
EEC73 (Parity error) occurrence. These errors may be caused by a poor
contacting of the LD- IF board connecter for the Optical unit because of flux
attached upon soldering.

2. Procedure
Relay box cover

Loosen the two TP screws (M4X8) and remove

the relay box cover.

Perform insertion and extraction of connecter

(RCN2) for the Optical Unit on the back side
more than 5 times
Caution
Make sure that the connecter is connected
securely after performing insertion and
extraction.

3. Object Machine No.

Ultrasonic cleaning has been done in order to remove the flux during the
production process.
