OBJECTIVES:
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:
To study the employee retention strategies in
Gujarat Heavy Chemicals Limited: UNIT-Sree Meenakshi
Mills Pvt Ltd.

SECONDARY OBJECTIVES:
 To document the nature and extent of
employee turnover in Sree Meenakshi Mills pvt
ltd.
 To collect data relating to underlying causes of
employee turnover.
 To study the nature and work environment of
scheme girls where employee turn over is high.
 To analyse the benefits and welfare measures
provided by the company to the employees.
 To suggest the plant in the development of a
focused employee retention strategy.
VARIABLES
INDEPENDENT VARIABLES:
The variables which does not depend upon other
variables is termed as independent variables. some
independent variables under study are
 Supervisor relations
 Pay & benefits
 Work environment
DEPENDENT VARIABLES:
If one variable depends upon or is a consequence of the
other variable, it is termed as dependent variable. Here we are
intended to consider some dependent variables such as
 Overall satisfaction
 Likelihood to recommend
 Likelihood to stay
RESEARCH DESIGN:
The research design applied here is DESCRIPTIVE
RESEARCH.
DESCRIPTIVE RESEARCH:
Descriptive research studies are those studies which are
concerned with describing the characteristics of a particular
individual or of a group.
