OBJECTIVES:
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:
To study the employee retention strategies in
Gujarat Heavy Chemicals Limited: UNIT-Sree Meenakshi
Mills Pvt Ltd.
SECONDARY OBJECTIVES:
To document the nature and extent of
employee turnover in Sree Meenakshi Mills pvt
ltd.
To collect data relating to underlying causes of
employee turnover.
To study the nature and work environment of
scheme girls where employee turn over is high.
To analyse the benefits and welfare measures
provided by the company to the employees.
To suggest the plant in the development of a
focused employee retention strategy.
VARIABLES
INDEPENDENT VARIABLES:
The variables which does not depend upon other
variables is termed as independent variables. some

DEPENDENT VARIABLES:
If one variable depends upon or is a consequence of the
other variable, it is termed as dependent variable. Here we are
intended to consider some dependent variables such as
Overall satisfaction
Likelihood to recommend
Likelihood to stay
RESEARCH DESIGN:
The research design applied here is DESCRIPTIVE
RESEARCH.
