ABOUT ME
My name is Miss JohnsonI graduated from Springtown High School in 2012 and I couldn't be more excited to be back at my
alma mater. After high school I attended Midwestern State University, where I was also on the cheer team. I graduated
from MSU in December of 2017 and earned a BAAS. I have a beautiful dog named Murphy and a crazy cat named
Mercury. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns. I am always here to help!

Course Overview: Literacy Achievement and Read 180/System 44


In this course we will be using an adaptive prescriptive reading program. If you are enrolled in 8th grade literacy
achievement we will be using Lexia Power Up. If you are enrolled in Read 180 or System 44 we will be using the Read
180 next generation program. This will be the focus of our curriculum supported with independent reading and whole group
exercises. Our work will primarily use Chromebooks that will transition between school and home. I will have real time
reports in which to monitor your progress.
