After listening to and preparing for the presentation, I learned a lot about diversity of our own

culture, and I am more curious about how can people of the same culture differ. The video of

religion impressed me the most because it gave a brief but clear introduction of different

religions. I think my participation made me more interested in the religion diversity. I can

hardly understand those who believe in religions, but now I learned more about the

importance and beauty of religion and I began to think differently. I think my hometown had

more cultural similarities than differences to Wenzhou, so it was easy for me to accept those

differences. I used to consider the religions as something that only a few of people are

familiar with, but after I watched the religion diversity video, I learned that there’s a large

part of people who believes in religions. The world view that impressed me most was the

LGBTQ group. In their opinions, it is not enough to just try to learn about LGBTQ people,

we should understand and respect them. This was very similar to my worldview, as I was

always willing to understand those groups that are different from us.
