What were the most significant comments
you made on a peer’s paper? Summarize in 2-3
sentences.
The most significant comments I made on a
peer’s paper was asking them to read back on
their ideas and encouraging them to expound
on their ideas. Both my peers had great
thoughts on their topics, it was just
narrowing it or broadening it to make valid
connections to their research.
What were the least helpful comments you
recieved? Why do you feel they weren’t
helpful and what could your peer do to
improve their feedback?
In this peer review, my peers did not make
as many comments. Their few comments
were helpful, and I did not find one that
was less helpful than the others.
Perhaps they could be a bit more nitpicky
with their comments, I know this draft
was not the best and needs a lot of work.

What were the most helpful comments you
received from your peers? List 3 and explain
why.
The most helpful comments I’ve received
from my peers were about expounding
more on my methodologies. This is
helpful because I will be able to be
clearer on my intentions within the
paper. I’ve gotten a comment about the
forms of communication that are
present in the vert community. This
helps me because I will be able to expound
on different variations and further the
understanding of my topic. I also got a
few syntax comments, and it helps me in
terms of getting my paper to be more
coherent.
What changes would you make to your own
feedback (“feedforward”) if given another
chance? How will you implement these
changes for the next peer-review activity?
I would probably be a bit more nitpickier
about their topics. My peers did not
really go too far into their ideas, which
is fine since this is a primordial draft.
Next time, I will be more nitpicky about
what they should do to build coherency
in their essays and tie everything
together to make the essays impactful.
