A Equipment has already been made, this on-site installation and the purpose of this data sheet is for the purchase of internals,
design and validation of the equipment by the upgrade of the seismic standard.

C The inside diameter of manholes shall be equal to the size specified in the table of connections for 18" (450 mm) and smaller
size manholes. Manholes size 20" (500 mm) and larger may have a minimum inside diameter 1" (25 mm) less than the
nominal size listed in the table of connections unless the I.D. is specified.
D Manholes and handholes shall be furnished with blind flange, bolts and gasket. Each manhole shall be provided with a davit
and internal manhole grip.
E Internal ladder rungs shall be provided below the lowest shell manway on vertical vessels to permit access to the bottom head.

P Bed No. 1A shall be designed with 3.25ft. of FLEXIGRID 3 or similar. Bed No. 1B shall be designed with 2.5ft. Of FLEXIPAC 3Y
or similar. Structured packing is to be smooth, without holes and surface treatment.
Q Support for structured packing beds no. 1A and bed no. 1B shall have sufficient strength to support the weight of the structured
packing plus 25% liquid hold-up at design conditions.
R VPA/VGO packed bed # 2 shall be designed with Koch-Glitsch IMPT #50, Sulzer Nutter Ring #2 or acceptable equivalent packing.
Packing Height specified on DWG 11-MD2-411-D01 is the design height required after installation. Supplier shall provide sufficient
amount of packing to fill packed bed to its design level plus 5% excess.
S Loose packing support for bed no. 2 shall have sufficient strength to support the weight of the packing plus 25% liquid hold-up at
design conditions.
T Packed beds shall be filled such that no vertical gap is left between the limiter and the top of the packing.
U Tower sections shall be designed for the following uplift requirements:
-- Stripping Trays - 2 psi (each)
-- Stripping Feed Collector - 2 psi
-- Overflash Collector - 2 psi
-- Wash & PA Bed - 1 psi
-- VPA Collector - 1 psi minimum
V All alloy materials are to be identified per Alloy Verification (PMI) spec. 2-1TS-6455-ADD1 and GP-18-12-01.
X Minimum thickness readings are to be provided in the final documentation for the shell and head.
Internal attachment welds and materials shall be designed and fabricated in accordance with specification HS021112-PH0D3-MD16013
and specifically section 6 calculations shall be made to confirm requirements for method/material choice to be used.
Z The internals supplier shall furnish the following components to be installed by the vessel fabricator: chimney tray below bed #2
complete with draw-off and anti-vortex baffles, overflash accumulator pan with chimney and draw-off, stripping section consisting
of five sieve trays and one chimney tray and seal pan, all required mid span support beams,and the VPA Return and Wash Oil
headers. All packing beds, bed limiters and packing supports shall be installed in the field by the field subcontractor internals.

AA Vessel supplier shall guarantee weld overlay chemistry to a minimum depth of 1/16".
BB Distributors at nozzles 1N & 3N shall be furnished by internals supplier. Two spare spray nozzles of each type shall be included
with distributors. Distributors shall be installed by the field contractors.
CC Shop hydrotest shall be the greater of the following:
a) 1.3 x MAWP x Srt/Sdt x t/(t-c), or
b) 1.5 x Design Pressure x Srt/Sdt x t/(t-c)
where,
Srt = Allowable stress at room temperature
Sdt = Allowable stress at design temperature
c = corrosion allowance (cladding thickness in this case)
t = vessel section nominal total thickness including corrosion allowance.

The maximum membrane stress in the base material in the hydrostatic test condition shall not exceed 90 percent of the specified
minimum yield strength of the base material.

The hydrostatic test pressure for a future field test with the vessel vertical shall be calculated in accordance with the above.
For the field case the corrosion allowance thickness shall be neglected.
DD Internals supplier shall guarantee mechanical and hydraulic performance of internals.
EE Internal components provided by internals supplier shall be constructed of 316L.
