Sharing the Planet

Dear Parents,

Focusing on building a concrete understanding from the start of our upcoming UOI on Sharing the Planet, students will
be visiting Lake Tai every Tuesday starting next week onwards. The purpose of the visit is to observe the characteristics
of the living things initially, following up further on the ways they survive, eventually concluding by playing a part in the
wellbeing of others. We are looking for support from you (parent volunteers) each week. We have attached the do’s
and don’ts’ below for being a volunteer. Read them carefully and send an email to your homeroom teacher expressing
your available dates in advance please.

Kindly find the attached details below.

Date and Day Every Tuesday (20th, 27th October, 3rd, 10th , 17th , 24th November and 1st , 8th December 2020)
Time 9.15 am – 11.45 am
Things to bring Water bottle, poncho/raincoat (No umbrella), good shoes

Volunteer’s Requirement:
Do’s Don’t’s
Supervise all the students and help them as needed Do not just supervise your own child
Focus on all the students Do not bring any siblings
Be available Do not use your cell phone during the whole trip
Be sober and in healthy state Do not smoke or drink
Report anything observed to the Homeroom teacher Do not take any pictures at all. Photography is strictly
prohibited.

P.S – Kindly keep patience until the Homeroom teachers confirms your volunteering via email for any particular dates.
