1. Being in Grade 11, what are the development tasks expected of you? Rate yourself from 1-
10(10 as the highest) or whether you have accomplished those expected tasks.
 Being in Grade 11 is a period of life in which you have to explore the different aspects of
life such as home, family, school, work, and one’s role. The development tasks that are
expected of me are; adjust to the physical changes, I should have built confidence and
acceptance to my physical appearance already, adapt sexually and established my
sexual identity, at this period, it is important to establish relationships and establish the
values of sexual behavior. I must have developed the sense of responsibility since we
are starting to be independent and must continue to have a connection to our parents.
And finally, I must realize my commitment to my family, community and citizenship,
know the advantages or disadvantages of the transition to college, work, or
independent living. I rate myself 8 out of 10 as to whether I have accomplished those.
2. As you are in Grade 11, you are in transition from high school to college, from being an
adolescent t young adult. How do you feel about this transition?
 The transition from high school to college is the biggest transition they make in their life
up until this point. Before you leave the nest without looking back, think about what
you’ll do to help yourself make it a smooth transition. I feel mixed emotions because
sometimes I feel exhausted and tired because of the piles work but I realized one time
that the piles of work has a reason why is it given for all students because it was part of
growing and it will make us strong to how we overcome or how we manage the time to
finish of piles of work. Subsequently, this situation will make us to be prepared to the
next level of our adventure to reach the dreams we want in our life. I’m feel thankful
because if I can’t experience a lot of works before, it will be caused of my failure. I think
it is the best transition for me because I have learned a lot on how I improve more to
myself successfully.
3. Do you think you are ready for this transition which may mean more responsibilities and
greater accountability? If no, what are the expected tasks you need to work on? If yes, what
are the ways to take so you can better plan for the future?
 Yes, I’m ready for this transition. The ways to take so I can better plan for the future are
make a list of things I want to accomplish, envision my life, take small steps forward, be
patient, think realistically, and lastly don’t be afraid to take risks because it will make
me to accept any kind of mistakes to improve more myself to get better for my dreams.
However, I would like to show my gratitude for my family and my girlfriend who helped
me to always reaching outside my comfort zone in terms of opportunities I pursue, or
assignments I undertake, in order to move up in rank and compensation.
