Direction: Read the following articles below and answer the questions that follow.
Further, the deliberations in this paper reveal that a critical conscious research ethics are
embedded in the unfolding research ethics process involving the participants and the
researchers, and both the participant and researcher add equal weight to the transparency of the
ethical process and add value to building methodological and ethical rigor to the research.
The global public health response to COVID-19 could be significantly enhanced by safe,
effective vaccines and treatments, reliable measures of correlates of immune protection, and
improved scientific knowledge of the disease and its transmission. It is widely agreed that
vaccines would be particularly important, and over 100 candidate vaccines are currently being
developed. Well-designed human challenge studies provide one of the most efficient and
scientifically powerful means for testing vaccines, especially because animal models are not
adequately generalizable to humans.
Challenge studies could thus be associated with substantial public health benefit in so
far as they (a) accelerate vaccine development, (b) increase the likelihood that the most effective
(candidate) vaccines will ultimately become available), (c) validate tests of immunity, and (d)
improve knowledge regarding SARS-CoV-2 infection and transmission.
It necessitates sustained attention of two interconnected world which is the researcher and the
participant. It also reveals how we examine both worlds and how we going to design it for our
research. It also reflects our needs as a researcher.
2. Are SARS-CoV-2 infection and transmission study on humans rather than animal models
unethical?
No, it is more efficient and scientifically appropriate for testing vaccines because animal models
are not suitable to be generalizing as human being. In addition, there are lots of differences of
human and animals.
3. If you were a part of the research teams conducting such phenomenon, what will you do to
correct the unethical feature of the experiment?
If being a researcher requires ethics in researching, we should already know that animal testing
and human testing are different especially in this type of scenario. It can affect the whole people
if we don’t do it ethically.
For me, to qualify a good research writing is to have a certain characteristics that must be valid,
verifiable, and systematic, also must be based on the works of others, can be replicated or
doable and being sincerely interested in conducting this research.
There are several reasons why to adhere in following ethical standards while we conduct a
research; first it to promote the aims of the research, to gain knowledge, truth and avoidance of
errors.

Qualitative, because all of us really don’t study culinary arts and by this research means is to
help us understand other concepts or to gather more information that we don’t know and that
can be described through words.
Quantitative, my basis on this one is how many people on a specific school feel on their strand if
it is somehow happy because this is the strand they choose to chase their dream job or just
somehow just to graduate.
What is the degree of satisfaction of students taking the different SHS? Tracks?
Qualitative, this one can’t be expressed through graphs and numbers but to help us to
understand the concepts of it by words. It also gathers information to help us to understand.
Quantitative, this kind of research can use graphs or numbers to see how many youth are using
social media within 24 hours and how badly it can affect them.
