LESSON 1: THE IMPORTANCE OF RESEARCH IN DAILY LIFE

Activity 1
I. Question and Answer

Directions: Answer the questions briefly. Write your answers on the space provided.

1. What is Research?

Research is a thorough and detailed study of a particular problem, issue, or problem

with the scientific method. It is the adult way in which you strive to understand
something by experimenting with the science fair in elementary school. This is best
achieved by turning the question into a question to answer the question.

2. What is inquiry and its nature?

The inquiry is a learning approach that requires a method of investigating the natural or
material world, that leads to questions, discoveries, and experiments in the search for
new understanding.

3. What is the difference between inquiry and research?

An inquiry is any means of raising awareness, overcoming doubts, and resolving a

problem. An inquiry theory provides an overview of the different forms of investigation
and describes how each type of investigation achieves its aim. While research is used to
identify or validate proof, it reaffirms previous findings, resolves new or existing issues,
endorses theorems, or generates new theories.

4. How important is research in your daily life activities?

For us students, research is important because it helps us to analyze everything in

detail. If we study a subject in detail, the outcome will be good, and also the
information will be improved.
When you do such social studies, people become conscious of the positive and bad stuff
and even alert to it. To know the standards of the community, laws, proper research
needs to be done, or social survival will become difficult.

If you want to know the facts, it's the only way to read, learn, and study. You discover
the truth while you are reading and studying every topic.

5. Why is there a need to conduct research?

People are curious about how things work and the consequences they don't understand
the world around them.

Research is mainly aimed at educating behavior, illustrating the theory, and

contributing to knowledge creation in an area of research. A knowledge creation and
learning facilitation method. Means understanding and public knowledge of different
issues.

II. Discussion of Activity 1:

You just learned the importance of research in daily life. Answer the following
questions briefly on the blanks provided.

1. Was there an instance in your life when you did an inquiry or research? Share and
describe your experiences. What are your challenges and difficulties?

In certain cases, for example, if I as a person inquire about a certain subject when we ask
our teachers; if we search for a certain subject by digging in-depth their details and so
on.

2. As a learner in senior high school, how important is research in your daily life?

It was very important because we must discover the opportunities and expeditions for
new growth in our society

3. What is the importance of research in your education as a 21st Century learner?

It helps you develop your programming skills, vocabulary, and motivates you to think
critically so that it can be used for other topics. The 21st century saw social challenges
that demand innovative ways of seeking sustainable solutions. The problems can be
solved through analysis.

4. As a learner, what do you want to research on? Why?

As a student, I'd like to study subjects that would ... Ok, interest me or subjects I'd like
in some way to interact with or include.

Because studying topics that are not the researcher's interest, they more often lose their
motivation and drive to do their best and finish a paper in a way that would have been
better had they been interested in the subject. The readers should be disappointed with
this outcome both because of the results below the average. It's also funnier to study
topics I have enjoyed as a student or have any kind of expertise to simplify them.

I want to study better on people's health needs, such as how this and this responds or
how safe medicines can be made.

WHAT I HAVE LEARNED

Let’s check how well do you know about research. Write your answers on the space
provided.

1. Research is different from inquiry because the later will ask you a question .If
inquiring is synonymous with investigation then what makes inquiry different from
research which also investigates?

One thing is how they are treated. While an inquiry is typically undertaken by
interviewing and investigating the circumstances relating to the problem involved, an
investigation is carried out more systematically and organized, with information
inspected and evidence revealed in a process evaluated.

2. Research in our daily life help us to understand various issues in life leading to a
solution, in what way does research empowers you with knowledge to learn new
things?

Researching an invaluable method for building on key information is often the most
reliable way to start learning the nuances of different issues. The research will help you
to gain a certain mindset of not trusting in something you see and hear about, but of
clarifying and analyzing a particular response in depth. It works and it sharpens our
minds and our brains
