time to visit the barangay health clinics within which the mHealth app would be used and will

inform the CHWs of the research procedure. Two to three members of the research group will sit

face to face and discuss the research procedure with five to six CHWs in a well-lit and well-

ventilated room. The nature, extent, and purposes of the research, including confidentiality, will

be explained. If procedures are understood, the researcher will then present the informed consent

form which will then be signed by the CHW’s with a black pen. The researcher will collect the

informed consent forms one by one by and will be stored in a long, brown envelope. The

problems they experienced. Prior to the observation and interview the researcher will consult and

follow their respondent’s available time at their workplace, the respondents will be the one to set

what appropriate date and time would be best. On the day of the scheduled visit, three members

of the research group will stay inside the barangay health clinics for four hours to observe

respondent’s environment and while performing their regular activities, the researcher will be

using small notebook and black pen to write down any necessary data and observation. While

one to two members of the research group will facilitate unstructured interview, this will be
conducted during the scheduled visit similarly necessary answers and notes will be written down

in a small notebook using black pen. The interview will be conducted in a well-lit and well-

ventilated room. The interview will be audio-recorded, transcribed verbatim, and analyzed. After

transcribing, the researcher will inform their research adviser and proceed to the next phase

which is analysis and development of mhealth app.

in closed contact and coordinate with the CHW’s regarding updates and follow up. Once the

prototype will be development and ready for testing, the researcher will contact the CHW’s and
