In this study, we aim to evaluate the total extracts of guava leaves using organic

solvents to establish if it is effective against killing or inhibiting the growth of bacterium and

infection. This will be conducted in Carcar City specifically in Poblacion I Cogon, 6019 Carcar

City, Cebu because in this area there are many children who are fond of playing outside and by

that, they are prone to tripped off. Many of the people also who lived in this area are into using

alternative medicine like herbal plants in treating various wounds because they cannot buy

antibiotics without the prescription of the doctor. Some cannot afford to pay for the check-up.

People in Carcar City specifically in Cogon are approachable thus, it is easy for us to conduct a

survey and they are more than willing to answer. Besides, it is near in our place.
