TRAINING PROGRAM
(NSTP)

WHAT IS NSTP?
This particular course as required by
law aims to promote civic
consciousness and defense
preparedness among the youth,
develop your physical, moral,spiritual
and intellectual well being. It has 3
program components namely:
CWTS- Civic Welfare Training
Service, LTS- Leadership Training
Service, ROTC - Reserve Officers
Training Corps.
Civic Welfare Training
Service (CWTS)
This program refers to the general
welfare and the betterment of the
life of every individual in a
community which includes improving
health, education, environment,
entrepreneurship, safety, recreation,
moral of the citizenry and other
social welfare services.

Leadership Training Reserve Officers

Service (LTS)
This program aims to train the
students to teach literacy and
numeracy skills to school children, out
of school youths and other segments
of society in need of their services.
Training Corps
This program is designed to provide
military training to tertiary level
students in order to motivate, train,
organize and mobilize them for
national defense preparedness under
Sec. 38 and 39 of R.A. 7077.

NSTP IS IMPORTANT!
It is necessary because it instills us youth a sense of
patriotism for our country. This program is so beneficial for it
is one way for us students to learn and train to become well-
disciplined and effective. It also prepares us to be socially
aware and responsible individual members of the
community. NSTP train and teach students to acquire
various principles that will be helpful in the development of
their life and the community. This program will ignite our
youthfulness as we bring our country to integrity.
