Summary of Duties Polio campaign Phase wise;
Pre-Campaign.
1. Micro-planning: - Assist in preparation and updating SIA micro-plans. Validate the micro-plans in field. Help in identifying the
mapping high-risk areas in the specific UC.
2. Assist in selection of appropriate vaccinators as per given criteria and in their distribution as per need.
3. Assist in monitoring of timely distributions of DDM cards. Ensure that cards are filled properly and upon completion of campaign
their submission to the provincial office for further processing.
4. Follow up and report to PEOs on timely payment of incentives to the frontline workers.
5. Trainings: - Assist the DPEOs and district trainers in planning, coordinating and organizing training sessions for vaccination teams
and supervisors.
6. Partnership and Coordination: - Promote partnership with all influencing factors at any level in support of SIAs.
Campaign Implementation:
1. Monitoring: - Monitor the process of implementation of the campaign as per guidelines and provide feedback to DPEOs.
2. Data collection and analysis: - collect and collate the tally sheet data for the area of responsibility on daily basis.
3. Ensure proper implementation of SIAs with special attention to hard-to-reach areas and under-served high risk populations.
4. Attend the daily evening review meeting at Tehsil level for every SIAs and record the findings/observations for corrective action on
the following day of campaign.
5. Participate in preparation of realistic catch-up plans for missed children and monitor their implementations.
6. Participate in organizing the re-do/sweeping activities in the UC as required in the light of PCM/LQAs/marker survey results.

Summary of Duties: This Position was in charge of mobilization activities in DFID, Water Aid Payment by result (PBR) project ensuring

. Spot identification and construction of 80 Demo Latrines in target 40 villages by selecting poor people through Economic well being ranking
and identification of 42 Govt schools with WASH missing facilities

Achievements/Experience
1. Construction of 42 latrines and wash basin in 42 Govt schools with missing facilities of WASH including 5 Girls friendly latrine
keeping in mind the MHM.
2. Successfully constructed 4 sanitation drain lines and 4 Afridrive and 20 Abyar Hand pumps incentive based in ODF villages.
3. Successfully converted the 40 targeted villages into Open defecation free villages and certified the villages by District ODF
Committee.
4. Constructions of Sewerage Treatment Unit (STU) Resolved the community based problems and supervise the construction work
according to the shared BOQ.
5. Establishment of local NGO for the betterment of UC Rindan a local NGO (Rindan community development organization) was
established and helped them in documentation and in establishing the office.
6. For the capacity building of VC, s delivered 13 Trainings on E&I and 13 on DRR.
7. Door to door visit to monitor and verify about 3000 self based latrine rehabilitated, upgraded and newly built to give the incentive to
the respective CRP,s.

Implementation and Monitoring


 Ensure orientation of Religious/political influencers/school teachers regarding polio at UC and District level.
 Support health department during Polio rounds to cover missed households, refusals and NAs (Not available).
 Ensure that routine immunization services are made available to every eligible child throughout the District.
 To ensure teams are working smoothly as per their plans and are fully equipped with all necessities and following all the SOPs.
 To act as PEI and Master Trainer at district level trainings.

Achievements/Experience:
 Arranged regular quality campaigns in UC and Tehsil level regarding polio, measles and other health aspects and made them
successful by utilizing the minimum possible resources where LQAS (Lot Quality Assurance Sampling) conducted were always
passed.
 Successfully covered more than 150 chronic refusals of various types throughout the District and made them influencers while using
communication skills to gain their support in future.
 With the support of health staff and local influencers increased the rate of EPI from 30 % to 80 %.
 Supported in trainings and micro planning in more than 20 UCs throughout the district to achieve satisfactory level campaigns...
