Pizza Casa Tarradellas

I'm certainly not alone in my choice of favourite advertisement. It was designed and created by
the publicist Catalan Orial Villar in 2016 with the slogan “Whatever happens, I will be here on
your side”. The main creator´s intention was to introduce the pizza as the ideal product in
all the daily situations of life, whether good or bad. In fact, due to the impact of this
ingenious TV spot the company has achieved an increase in their pizza sales over the
past two years.

In this emotive advert, we see a teenager girl who gets home flood of tears owing to her
boyfriend has broken up with her over the phone. Her father, with no idea how he might help
her daughter, suggests they share a pizza for dinner. Surprisingly, she accepts the invitation
and both finish the night talking about her love affairs.

Due to the advert´s content and message, a majority of people believe it to be a ground-
breaking, contemporary advert which is free of the usual stereotypes. They do not doubt it
creates an image of admiration between father and girl. However, many people claim that this
advert denigrates women since they are portrayed as temperamental individuals who fall in
love too easily.

I would definitely recommend watching this advert as I consider it one of the most hilarious
adverts that I have watched in my life. If I were you, I would be in a hurry to look for it on
YouTube.
