PS If you have another 4-card suit accompany with your 6-card main suit, the
power you need to preempt can be decreased by 1~2 point, depending on the vul
and seat.
You can preempt with a 5-card semi-solid suit only in 3rd seat.
You might light openbid at 3rd seat instead of preempt, reference the range
between preempt and normal openbid.
When openbid at 2 level in 4th seat, means that you think there’s little chance
that you and your partner might have game(you want to buy this contract).
When openbid 2H or 2D in the 4th seat, more power or healthier defensive trick

General principle: 1st level 8~, 2nd level 10~.
You overcall with a good suit, or with some power to competitive with opponents.
When overcall 1.5 defensive trick is recommend, otherwise think about preempt.
You should overcall instead of preempt, if when partner cuebid, you would like to bid
a game.
You can over call with a 4-card semi-solid suit in 1st level, but never in 2nd level.
