2. Synopsis: This course aims to develop students’ academic and general
listening and speaking skills as active participants, audience of
presentation as well as an effective discussion leader. Thus,
particular attention is given to the comprehension of lectures,
delivery of oral presentations, and participation in discussions.

CLO 1: Comprehend and describe listening materials using pre, during and post listening
strategies in integrated activities
CLO 2: Respond appropriately to rhetorical questions asked.
CLO 3: Apply note-taking strategies effectively.
CLO 4: Develop speaking fluency and present ideas with confidence.
