SYNOPSIS

Title page:

Abstract:
(Should not exceed 200 Words)

Introduction:
(Should not exceed 1 page)

Literature review:
(With cons and pros of existing methods in tabular form)
Pros: Perhaps the greatest advantage of primary research is that it allows the researcher to
obtain original data that are current and highly specific to his or her needs.

Cons: Because of the processes involved, primary research can be very time-consuming,
sometimes requiring months or even years. It can also be a very costly process.

Problem formulation/Objectives:

Methodology/ Planning of work:


(Methodology will include the steps to be followed to achieve the
objective of the mini project)

Facilities required for proposed work:


(Software/Hardware required for the development of the Mini project.)

(Here specify the description of the study material referred for the

SPECIFICATIONS FOR SYNOPSIS

1. The synopsis shall be computer typed (English- British, Font -Times Roman,
Size-12 point) and printed on A4 size paper.

2. The Synopsis shall be typed on one side only with 1.5 spaces with a margin
3.5 cm on the left, 2.5 cm on the top, and 1.25 cm on the right and at bottom.

3. In the synopsis, the title page [Refer sample sheet (inner cover)] should be
given first. This should be followed by index, notations/nomenclature.

4. The diagrams should be printed on a light/white background; Tabular matter


should be clearly arranged.

5. The caption for Figure must be given at the BOTTOM of the Fig.

6. The caption for the Table must be given at the TOP of the Table.

7. The Bibliography/References should be written in IEEE format
