Evaluating Non-Verbal Communication Watch any of the television shows of your

favorite TV personality. After watching, analyze the TV personality‟s non-verbal

communication.

Attached here the picture (still) of the show you’ve watched.

1. Posture - the position in which someone holds their body when standing or
sitting. We can see that Miss Enola's posture is pleasant and she looks like a
respectable person because of her posture. And it is true that he is not really like
that, he just does that to pretend and hide from his pursuers. In the second
image, you can see what Miss Enola's true posture is.
2. Gesture - A gesture is a form of non-verbal communication or non-vocal
communication in which visible bodily actions communicate particular messages,
either in place of, or in conjunction with, speech. Gestures include movement of
the hands, face, or other parts of the body.
In this photo Miss Enola make a non-verbal communication using her
hand. It means “wait, I have something to do” even though she’s not
talking I know that the meaning of her hand gesture.

3. Tactile - experiences or sensations are received or felt by touch.

We can see in this photo that Miss Enola is inside of the dark hall. In order
to not be separated, she holds the man’s arm. And the man felt that Miss
Enola is scared so the man grabs Miss Enola’s arm to secure it.
4. Proxemics - the amount of space that people feel it necessary to set between
themselves and others.

In this photo, Miss Enola and a man riding in an old motor vehicle. The
space between them is intimate. I can tell that there is something to them
even if they’re not talking to each other.
