What I Can Do

As a senior high school student, how can you help the government to mitigate the harmful effects of
coastal and marine processes such as coastal erosion, submersion and saltwater intrusion assuming that your
community is prone to hazard.
Answer: As a senior high student, since I am still a student, I could at least do some simple things to help the
government mitigating these bad effects like obeying the rules and ordinance in our barangay. I can also make
use of my learnings from our school, like spreading information and warnings with these hazard for them, the
people to be aware so they already know what to do during those bad time. These hazard are quite inevitable
and I encourage my fellow kababayan in our barangay to have the enough knowledge before it’s too late.
