The School of Management & Commerce offers the following

UG PROGRAMMES
Course Duration: 3 years
Bachelor of Commerce, B.Com (Hons.)
Eligibility Criteria: He/She should have passed the 10+2 examination conducted by Central
Board Of secondary Education or Equivalent examination from a recognized Board in Commerce
Stream or any other stream with Mathematics as one of the subjects with the minimum of 50%
marks in aggregate.
The programme is designed to develop the conceptual and practical skills of the students to
select their professional career from a number of options available to them. It aims to develop
students' intellectual pursuit of knowledge of commercial sciences and help them understand
the methods and processes of commerce in every area of activity. The Programme exposes them
to the diverse area of application of knowledge in business firms and industrial organizations
and enables them to gain the practical knowledge in order to be globally competent.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
Eligibility Criteria: He/She should have passed the 10+2 examination conducted by Central
Board Of secondary Education or Equivalent examination from a recognized Board with
minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
The Programme aims at developing a student's intellectual ability, executive personality and
managerial skills through an appropriate blending of business and general education. It seeks to
develop students as analytical and rigorous thinkers so that they are able to apply the concepts
learnt to all pertinent issues that affect an organization's performance and effectiveness. The
programme develops their point of view convincingly with reasoned responses, when
challenged. Students are prepared to work effectively in a team-based environment, persuade
and influence others to work collectively for a common goal.

PG PROGRAMMES
Course Duration: 2 years
Masters of Business Administration (MBA)
Eligibility Criteria: The Candidate should have passed a Bachelor Degree or Equivalent from a recognized
University with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
The MBA Programme aims to develop students into leaders ready to tackle the challenges of today's
complex global business environment. The programme provides integrative experience and
experimental learning through the application of multi disciplinary knowledge and analyzing the impact
of decisions and actions on various stake holders. It prepares students to demonstrate awareness about
the economic, environmental, political, legal and regulatory aspects of global business practices. The
students acquire strategic and innovative thinking skills to enable effective decision making and problem
solving in complex and uncertain condition. Throughout the programme, students gain valuable insight
and skills from class room, lectures, case studies, conferences, industrial visits and guest lectures
delivered by industry professionals and leading academicians from across the world. The programme
offers core and open electives leading to specialization in the field of finance, marketing, Human
Resource Management, International Business, Information Technology.
Summer Internship: 6-8 weeks of internship in organization of repute in Delhi/NCR.
International Summer School: Approx. 2 weeks of International summer school at prestigious
universities outside India, to provide international exposure to the budding managers.

Master of Commerce (M.Com)


Eligibility Criteria: The Candidate should have passed a B.com from a recognized University or equivalent
with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate
The programme has a distinct objective to equip the students with knowledge, skills and attitude to
become more suitable for the present and emerging job market. The programme allows student to
choose for further advanced studies in different specialization of commerce such as Accounting,
Taxation, Finance, Human Resource, Marketing etc thereby enabling them for a wide range of career
dealing with the flow of money, from accountant to investment banker, money manager to personal
finance consultant including entrepreneurial skills for starting new business ventures. The program
prepares students to exploit newly created opportunities in the accounting field and provides foundation
for Ph.D. programme in Commerce.

Ph.D. PROGRAMMES

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)


The Ph.D. programme is based on the research carried out by the student under the guidance
of supervisor/Co- supervisor(s) and the programme duration depends upon the completion of
the selected research by the students
The candidate should have a Post Graduate degree or its equivalent from a recognized
university, in respective discipline, with minimum 55% marks or minimum CGPA of 5.5 on a 10
point scale.
Admission to Ph.D. programme will be based on the overall performance in Post Graduate
degree in respective discipline, Written Entrance Exam, Personal Interview and available
resources. Preferences will be given to CSIR/UGC-NET qualified candidates and those having
sponsored projects. Candidates with NET, SLET, GATE, MPAT, M.Phil. Or equivalent qualification
may be exempted from Entrance Examination.
Admitted candidates will have to clear mandatory course work and fulfill other
