    Learning Competencies Reflection

    After completing the Lifelong Learning Characteristics Questionnaire, I find my

    strengths are learning independently and preferring to relate academic learning to

    practical issues. I strongly disagree others plan my learning. My strengths can help me

    study a lot. If I like to learning independently, I can more enjoy learning and can gain

    more knowledge. And it can improve my learning skills. Relating academic learning

    to practical issues also contributes to my academic success. When I learn something

    new, I prefer to practice by myself according to the introduction, which makes me

    remember knowledge and find some problems. Therefore, I will stick to my strengths

    and develop other good habits.

    Each strand of the C R E A M learning strategies is very useful, but I think the most

    important is that “Find you creative streak” The approaches to fostering creativity

    mentioned in the book surprise me a lot. I never thought I could foster creativity in

    this way. It’s interesting. Now society needs creative people. I can come up with more

    ideas if fostering creativity. It not can help me raise my level of LLCs but also shape

    my characters. Also keeping motivated and using my goals to guide my study

    strategies are essential.
