    Dear Larry Luscious:

    I am pleased to learn of your need for a team member at Luscious Lawns. My friend who works
    under you informed me about the opening. My abilities for your position include working well with
    others, will do jobs others might not do, and good with people.

    This is evidenced by my countless hours put into the First Wesleyan Church and helping the
    community. I have already worked for a landscaping company in the area known as Sherk’s
    Landscaping for the summer. I also do some small jobs on the side such as baby sitting and dog
    sitting.

    I greatly look forward to working for your team because it will give me more work experience and
    different skills I can better myself with. I look forward to discussing my application with you
