Screw pa ern for double joist: Chose one of the two joists
and always align all screws in that one row. Only end joints
shall be screwed on second joist.
NOTAS
1. The latest version of the user agreement, privacy policy and general terms and condi ons apply, and have been
accepted by the user prior to the use of the SPAX Design So ware.
2. The design, arrangement, amount of screws, connec on devices and further indicated details are valid exclusively for
the use of SPAX screws, as indicated by the SPAX Design So ware.
3. Legal requirements, buidling regula ons and/or professional rules applicable to such works in the country of their
installa on shall be observed.
4. Pre-drilling: When SPAX screws are indicated as fasteners, pre-drilling of the wood is basically recommended regard-
less of the wood type. Matching drills from the SPAX product range are also indicated. Users who want to forego
pre-drilling, have to check under their own responsibility whether this is possible, depending on the type of wood
used and the applicable professional rules. It is strongly recommended to immediately remove drilling dust from
pre-drilling a er the drilling process in order to prevent stains (wood discolora on).
6. Wood protec on: SPAX accessories for wood protec on are included. Their use serves to extend the durability of
wood in weathered outdoor condi ons. Na onal regula ons or professional rules may require further wood preser-
va on measures, such as minimum slope, chamfers for water drain, etc…
7. When SPAX S ck pro invisible fixing is used as fastener, the following restric ons apply:
• Suitable for board thicknesses not exceeding 25m made from Douglas Fir, Pine, European Larch, Oak, Garappa,
Bangkirai, Ipe (max. 21 x 130mm) or thermo-wood (please also refer to manufacturer’s instruc ons)
• Not suitable for boards made from Siberian Larch, Cumaru, Bongossi, Massaranduba. These wood species are
usually prone to severe warping.
• Not suitable for Wood Plas c Composite boards (WPC)

IMPORTANT
The dimensions given by the user in the SPAX Design So ware must be checked again for accuracy in the result output
report.
The SPAX Design So ware is a planning aid for fast and meaningful scheduling of all required SPAX products (shopping list)
including a layout output. It cannot replace the design work of a qualified professional.
