____________________________________________________________________________

INTRODUCTION

● ES15 is a ready to use liquid disinfectant suitable for a variety of hard surfaces.
● The protocol outlines a stream and wipe process for hard surfaces as well as an
immersion process for items which cannot be cleaned and disinfected with the
Steriwipes (for example small toys such as lego).
● This product is ordered in a larger volume by the Administration through the Work Order
System, stored along with other Caretaking products, and then decanted into a smaller
bottle by a member of the Caretaking Team for staff use.
● The product will be provided in a suitable spray bottle with an applicable WHMIS
workplace label attached. The label shall include the name of the product and PPE
requirements: eye protection (face shield or goggles) and a reference to SDS for more
information.
● Note: Caretakers will follow the decanting process when supplying school staff with a
supply of ES15.
● The cleaning and disinfection process is two steps, cleaning the item to remove surface
dirt followed by disinfection.
● Contact time for disinfection is 5 minutes.
● This product must be secured when not in use. Elementary students should not be
using disinfectant products.
● After cleaning and disinfecting, follow the COVID 19 Standard Operating Practice:
