 Mission Offerings – A mission envelope was sent home today and may be brought back anytime this week.

 Spelling Words – Spelling words for unit 21 were sent home today.

 Tests – Tuesday we will have a math test. The students were given a practice test last Thursday. This time it
is required for them to complete.

 “Fun-raiser” – This Wednesday, February 16th, is the next Apostles Fun-raiser. This one will take place at
Armadillo Willy’s, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. This is a great opportunity to help support our school and get to
know Apostles’ friends and neighbors! Apostles will earn 20% of the meals purchased. In order to qualify,
you must present the flyer to your server when ordering. Feel free to pass along a flier to your friends and
relatives who might be interested in supporting our school as well. Should you need another flyer, stop by the
school office to pick one up.

 Midterm Reports – This week marks the midway point in the third quarter. The students will be bringing
home a progress report on Friday. Please sign and return the attached sheet after viewing your child’s grades
and discussing them with your child. You may keep the actual progress report.

 No School – Next week, February 21-25, there is no school! Monday is Presidents’ Day, and Wednesday
through Friday the teachers will be at a conference which is held in Redding.

 Forensics Meet – On Saturday, March 19th, Apostles will be hosting a Forensics Meet. Students from our
other WELS schools in northern CA will be participating as well. All students in grades 4-8 are invited to
participate. Information about the forensics meet was sent home last week.

 Spirit Week - The week we return to school, February 28-March 4, is Spirit Week! Information about Spirit
Week was sent home last week. Let’s shoot for 100% participation from 4th grade! Here is what the days are:
Monday – Hawaii Day Thursday – Farmer’s Day
Tuesday – Zoo Day Friday – Green & Gold Day
Wednesday – Oddest Sweater Day
